Talanah said as she came to, still, she reached out and grabbed Aloy's hand like a life line.Īloy's lips curled up in a smile. She always smiled at seeing Aloy, a soft and muzzy smile. She traded spots with Milu at times, one of the healers sent by the Lodge after they were commissioned, once even one of the Sun-Priests who owed Talanah a favor so she could get a little shopping done.Īlways she came back, her chair near Talanah recently vacated and her Sunhawk waking up to see her.
It was nice to just set down and to have time to stock up. The woman in question was always sleeping after she'd been given a medicinal drink and her bandages changed. They knew that Aloy was still her Thrush, perhaps not fully like someone who stayed would be, but she was important nonetheless. The Sunhawk had gone down on a hunt, killed the machine she was hunting but she was hurt. It wasn't often that she was met by one of Talanah's hunters at the Meridian gate, intercepted before she got past the guards.
